Introducing whale.ag V2: The Non-Custodial Cockpit for Hyperliquid

whale.ag V2 turns Hyperliquid into one cockpit — a pro perp terminal, one-click copy-trading, the alpha50 hive, and live smart-money flow. Fully non-custodial, in 21 languages.

Hyperliquid gave crypto the thing it had been missing: an on-chain perpetuals exchange that feels like a centralized one — deep books, fast fills, real liquidation engine — without the custodial trust. What it did not give you was a cockpit. A single place to trade it by hand, to copy the traders who are already winning on it, and to see where the smart money is actually moving — all without ever handing your keys to anyone.

That cockpit is whale.ag V2.

V1 was a discovery layer: a place to find good on-chain traders and mirror them. V2 is the whole workstation built on top of Hyperliquid — a professional trading terminal, a rebuilt copy-trading engine, the alpha50 consensus hive, a smart-money flow terminal, frictionless multichain deposits and withdrawals, and a referral economy that pays the people who grow it. One login, one non-custodial account, twenty-one languages.

This is what we shipped.

Non-custodial, or it doesn't count

Start here, because everything else depends on it: your connected wallet is your Hyperliquid account. whale.ag never takes custody of your funds. There is no whale.ag deposit address, no omnibus wallet, no "trust us" balance sheet.

When you trade manually, you sign your own orders. When you deploy a copy-trading agent, the engine gets permission to place and manage trades on a dedicated wallet — but it can never withdraw. Moving money out always requires a fresh signature from you, from your own wallet. A compromised server, a rogue operator, a bad day at the office — none of them can drain your account, because none of them can produce that signature.

That is not a marketing line bolted on at the end. It is the architecture. Everything below is built inside that constraint.

A trading terminal where the liquidity already is

The flagship of V2 is a from-scratch, non-custodial Hyperliquid perp terminal. V1 had no manual trading UI at all — you discovered traders and copied them. Now the base route is the terminal.

It looks and works like a professional desk:

  • Full order ticket — market and limit, long and short, cross or isolated margin, a leverage slider that respects each asset's real max and applies live to Hyperliquid, size in USD or in coin with a percentage slider, reduce-only and post-only, and take-profit / stop-loss with live PnL and ROE as you set them. Every order shows you the liquidation price, margin impact, slippage and fee before you confirm.
  • Live order book and tape — a real depth ladder that auto-centres on the spread, with a Book/Trades toggle.
  • A charting surface that trades — a brand-themed TradingView chart on Hyperliquid's own data, with draggable limit, TP, SL and liquidation lines wired straight to your order. Drag a resting order to a new price and it modifies atomically. Drag to set a position's TP/SL. Close from the chart.
  • Snoop any wallet — click any trader, position, or coin and the terminal overlays their live fills and mirrors their positions and history right in the dock. See what the people you'd copy are actually doing, on the same screen you trade on.

Connect once and you can trade for a week without a signing popup on every order — trading uses a trade-only session that can place, cancel and manage orders but, like everything else here, can never withdraw. It expires on its own after seven days.

The fee for all of this is 0.05% (5 basis points) taken as a Hyperliquid builder fee on fills. No hidden spread, no markup on your execution — you trade against Hyperliquid's real book at Hyperliquid's real prices.

Copy-trading, rebuilt from the engine up

The copy engine is the part of whale.ag with the most road behind it — sizing, drift-sync, stop-loss, performance-fee accounting and safe wind-down are battle-tested shared core. V2 keeps that engine and rebuilds everything around it.

You deploy a copy-trading agent: a dedicated, non-custodial wallet that mirrors a trader (or the alpha50 hive) on your behalf. Before you deploy, you tune it:

  • Allocation and quick-amounts, and a sizing multiplier to trade bigger or smaller than the source.
  • A portfolio stop-loss that winds the whole agent down if it draws down past your line.
  • Direction — follow the trader, or invert them.
  • A coin allowlist, minimum notional, and max slippage.
  • Cold-start and mirror-opens-only options for how the agent picks up an already-open book.

Every knob maps one-to-one to the engine that actually runs it — no gap between the preview and the behaviour.

Once it's live, the agent gets its own dashboard: net equity, live equity curve, live positions, the trader it mirrors, an executions log, and an editable config card. Pause it, resume it, or stop it whenever you want. Two features matter especially:

  • Take-profit — pull a percentage of an agent's equity while it keeps running. The system reduces positions proportionally, settles the fee, sends the funds, and rebases the high-water-mark, all from one signature.
  • End & withdraw — a hardened, resumable wind-down: stop, close, drain, settle, withdraw, verify-empty. One signature, live progress, no stuck funds.

On the money side the model is simple and aligned: a 15% performance fee, charged only on new profit above the agent's high-water-mark. If the agent is in drawdown, you pay nothing until it makes a new high. Funding a copy agent starts at a $250 minimum.

alpha50: don't copy a genius — own the ensemble

Copy-trading usually sells a fantasy: find the one genius, mirror their wallet, get rich. The problem is that a single wallet is a single sample — you can't tell skill from luck on one path, and the day your genius blows up is the day you blow up with them.

alpha50 takes the opposite approach. It's a curated cohort of the best on-chain traders, turned into a single diversified, risk-managed signal using a result from portfolio theory that Ray Dalio's Bridgewater called the "Holy Grail of investing." The edge is statistical, not predictive: it doesn't forecast price, it harvests the variance reduction of many skilled-but-noisy signals whose mistakes cancel out.

In the app, alpha50 is a live dashboard — hive-conviction gauge, equity curve with drawdown circuit-breakers, live positions with vote bars, the cohort donut, a coin-vote heatmap and the wallet table — and it's copyable in one click, with the same non-custodial guarantees as any other agent.

The full derivation — correlation, shrinkage, fractional-Kelly sizing, and the tail risk the whole thing is engineered to survive — is its own article:

alpha50: The Math Behind the Hive — why diversification is the only free lunch in markets, and how you turn a crowd of live conviction signals into one risk-managed position.

Smart Money Flow: conviction, not noise

Most "whale trackers" show you a firehose of transactions and let you guess. V2's Smart Money Flow terminal shows you conviction.

It's a live, conviction-weighted tape of what a chosen cohort — alpha50 or the top-100 on-chain traders — is doing right now, with a signal rail for net flow and unusual volume, windows from 6 hours to a week, strength filters, a credible long/short pulse bar, and per-coin focus. It's the difference between "a wallet moved" and "the traders who are actually good are leaning long on this, with size." You can point it at your watchlist and trade straight from what it tells you.

Money in, money out — without the friction

Getting funds onto Hyperliquid used to mean a chain of bridges and manual steps. V2 collapses it.

  • Deposit from any chain. Bring USDC from wherever it lives and it lands on your Hyperliquid spot balance in one transaction, with a live quote showing exactly what you'll receive after fees and how long it'll take. You can fund from a Solana wallet, or buy USDC with a card and bridge it in the same flow. Deposits start at just $5 — the live quote is your protection, not an arbitrary gate.
  • Withdraw natively. Hyperliquid → Arbitrum in one signature, no gas, a flat $1 fee, in about five minutes, to your address or a custom one. Need it on another chain? A second leg bridges it there automatically, and the intent survives a page reload so it never gets lost mid-flight.

An economy that pays the people who build it

whale.ag runs on activity, not token emissions — and it shares that activity with the people who create it.

Season points accrue as you trade and copy, unlock VIP tiers and fee discounts, and surface right in the top bar.

The Battle Pass referral system rewards you for bringing traders in, and the rate climbs with the volume your network does — six milestone tiers, from Bronze at 20% to Master at 35%:

TierNetwork volumeYour referral rate
Bronze$250k20%
Silver$500k23%
Gold$1M26%
Platinum$5M29%
Diamond$25M32%
Master$35M35%

For KOLs, communities and business developers there's a dedicated affiliate portal (bdm.whale.ag): a full attribution tree, a network view of your downline and its volume, the ability to onboard communities under you and set exactly how much of the fee you cede to each, member tables, and a payouts page with on-chain claims. It's a real revenue-share business, run transparently, with the split math proven in code.

Built for every trader, in every language

V2 speaks 21 languages — English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Hindi, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Polish — including full right-to-left layout for Arabic and Hebrew. Not chrome-only: the terminal, the copy flows, the dashboards, all of it.

And it's built for a phone. A bottom nav, a full drawer, a thumb-reachable trade sheet, and bottom-sheet deposit / withdraw / deploy flows with safe-area insets — you can run your whole book from a phone on the train.

The fee model, in the open

No asterisks:

  • Trading: 0.05% (5 bps) builder fee on fills. You trade Hyperliquid's real book at real prices.
  • Copy-trading: 15% performance fee on new profit above the high-water-mark. Nothing while you're in drawdown.
  • Withdraw: a flat $1 Hyperliquid fee, no gas.

That's it. The platform earns when you trade and when your copy agents make you money — its incentives point the same way yours do.

Start here

whale.ag V2 is one thing built out of many: a terminal for when you have a view, copy-trading for when you'd rather borrow one, alpha50 for when you'd rather own the whole crowd, and the smart-money flow to tell you where the edge is — all on Hyperliquid, all non-custodial, all in your language.

The exchange was already the best on-chain. Now there's a cockpit worthy of it.
